WHEAT

The first effect of Zn deficiency appears at the tillering initiation stage in the form of fading of tissue between midrib and edges of leaf (third leaf from the top) in middle or lower half of lamina. This is followed by loss of green colour between the veins and light to dark ) brown spots (necrotic lesions) in middle of the leaf blade. The necrotic areas intensify and coalesce resulting in collapse of affected leaves from the middle. Plant growth is restricted. Earring and maturity are delayed.

Soil Application:50 Kg Zn Sulphate should be applied before sowing.

Foliar Application: for spraying one hectare This is crop, dissolve 2.5 Kg. Zn followed by loss of green colour Sulphate and 10 Kg Urea (or 1.25 Kg slaked lime in 500 litres of water atleast middle of the leaf blade.
